Itecons (Institute for Research and Technological Development for Construction, Energy, Environment and Sustainability) is a non-profit organization grounded in the campus of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra
The institute was established in 2006 to act as a dynamic interface of technology, knowledge and know-how between the scientific community and the industry. We provide applied research, testing, consultancy and training services in the fields of construction, energy, environment and sustainability. Over the years we have held many successful seminars, conferences, symposia, technical expositions and workshops dedicated to various fields, at national and international level.
In this context, we are looking to bring together researchers and professionals from many different backgrounds on our first International Conference on Construction, Energy, Environment and Sustainability to debate the global challenges that need addressing for achieving a sustainable built environment and a sustainable construction activity.
