Indoor air quality assessment
DL118/2013 (in its last republication) imposes protection thresholds for concentrations of indoor air pollutants and minimum values of new air flow in commercial and service buildings, which should be checked periodically.
One of the main objectives of air renewal is the dilution of pollutants and the supply of oxygen. It is also essential for the reduction of the relative humidity of the indoor air, without which several pathologies related to the occurrence of surface condensations are potentiated.
Indoor air quality audits aim not only to monitor concentrations of pollutants, but also to monitor the temperature and relative humidity of the air and, in some cases, the surface of the building elements.
