Factory production control
Within the framework of the Construction Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) Nº 305/2011), Factory Production Control is defined as "documented, permanent and internal control of prodution in a factory, in accordance with the relevant harmonised technical specifications" (harmonised standards or European Assessment Documents). The implementation and maintenance of this control is the responsibility of the manufacturer and must meet the requirements of the system of Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance (AVCP). Information on the AVCP applicable to each construction product is described in the corresponding harmonised technical specification for the product.
